Frequently asked questions
Will my image be distorted?
Not by default. The default "crop to fill" mode keeps the aspect ratio and crops the excess — your subject stays centered and undistorted. If you specifically need every pixel remapped (e.g. a texture), choose "stretch" in advanced options.
Can I resize to a larger size (upscale)?
Yes, upscaling is allowed — small images are enlarged with interpolation. Be aware upscaling adds softness; for print-quality results start from the highest-resolution source you have.
How do mm or inch inputs work?
Choose the unit and DPI (default 300 DPI for print). For example 35×45 mm at 300 DPI becomes exactly 413×531 px — the size visa-photo systems ask for. The pixel math is shown in the result.
What output format do I get?
By default your input format (JPG stays JPG, PNG stays PNG with transparency). You can force PNG or JPEG in advanced options if the portal requires a specific one.
